Maternity

February 5, 2024

This family is one that is near and dear to my heart. I met their firstborn when he was just a few days old in an idyllic olive grove for his very first photoshoot. Since then, I’ve been honored to be invited back to photograph his dohl (Korean first birthday), and now, to celebrate his becoming a big brother later this year!

Mama chose a garden setting for her maternity session and chose the perfect Nothing Fits But dress to compliment the first blooms of the season. We were thrilled to finally have some sun during a long season of rain! We strolled the paths of the site, chatted about life with a toddler, and adjusting to new work situations. Meeting up with this family is like catching up with old friends.

Ray and Sujin, I am so excited to see you welcome another little one into your fold. I know he will be sooo loved beyond belief, and will have an older brother who is looking forward to having a playmate in a few years! Mama, I hope you’re ready for all the laughs and tears that will come your way soon with all the shenanigans that these two will get into! But then, I also know how much your heart will be bursting with your love for them at the same time.
